Reid Edward Robison lived life to the fullest - marrying the love of his life, traveling the world, and pouring his love into his children and grandchildren. Reid was born on December 7, 1944 in San Francisco to Homer and Arline. They soon moved to Oklahoma, and he achieved academic success at every step (co-valedictorian at Cushing HS, Top Ten Freshman at OU, and Order of the Coif at OU Law School). He made wonderful, lifelong friends through the Sigma Chi house, and on his way to law school, he met Jean Ann, who became his joy and wife of 54 years. After law school, he worked as an Assistant AG for Oklahoma before he went on active duty in the AF JAG at Lowry AFB outside Denver. Upon returning to OK, he joined McAfee & Taft and enjoyed incredible success as a trial lawyer, receiving local and national recognition for his trial skills, integrity, and professionalism. He truly loved being a lawyer, and he considered the lawyers at his firm to be close, personal friends, not just business partners. Reid loved travel, the outdoors, exercise, tennis, the Indy 500, and everything connected with OU. But what brought him more joy than anything else in life was his family. To him, experiences were far more valuable than possessions, and he cherished experiencing life with his family - trips, sporting events, and holidays. Reid and Jean Ann have two children, Brian and Amy. Brian and his wife Madeline have 4 children: Amelia, Ana, Brent, and Blake. Amy and her husband Nate have 3 children: Kate, Catherine, and Christian. Reid is also survived by his sister Mary. Reid said that the two most important decisions in his life were to become a trial lawyer and to marry Jean Ann, but not in that order. Marrying Jean Ann was the best thing Reid ever did. She was his best friend, his constant companion, and his partner for life. He was one of the best in every way.
