Richard Lee Hughes

Richard Lee Hughes, born October 16, 1927, in Paso Robles, CA passed away at home in Oklahoma City on December 10, 2016 surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Gregory and Philip as well as his wife Carolyn. He is survived by his children Jon, Tim, Stephen, Jenny and husband Pete, Becky and husband Jason, along with his grandchildren, Allison and husband Kyle, Abby, Allie and Ramsey, great grandchild Isobel as well as 4 step-children Chris, David, Theresa and Michele. "Doc" loved practicing medicine and was a brilliant diagnostician. He practiced medicine for over 50 years as a General MD and he considered his patients family. Family was EVERYTHING he recently proclaimed. And he's right. He was surrounded by family as he left this world and he was loved, he was loved, he was loved! The family will hold private services.
