Rita Lorraine 'Lorraine' Linton

The Linton Family is sad to announce the passing of Rita Lorraine Linton. "Lorraine" was born in Chicago on May 9th, 1935. Lorraine passed away in the early Monday morning of October 6, 2014. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00p.m. Friday, October 10th at Resthaven Cemetery in south Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy C. Linton, married 60 years. Her sister Mary Ann Sarillo of Wheaton, IL, her Aunt Betty, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews who reside in the Chicago area. She was a loving mother to her three children, Billie Linton, Okemah, OK, Brenda Pickett, OKC, and Jennifer Linton, deceased. Her grandchildren include Angela, Neil, James II, and Bryan Pickett. We will all miss her greatly. Lorraine loved cooking Italian food, animals, and watching the movie, The Ten Commandments. Although in no way necessary but appreciated, flowers may be sent to Smith & Kernke Funeral Home on North May on her behalf. Lorraine loved animals and memorial contributions to a local animal shelter would be wonderful.
