It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert B. Feistel, Jr. "Bob" on November 29th, 2015, at the age of 92. He was born on January 23, 1923 to Robert and Hilma Feistel in El Reno, OK. Bob attended Oklahoma University in Norman for two years. He then entered the service in June 1943 and served as an officer and bombardier instructor in the US Army Air Corps. After WWII, he became a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and graduated from Oklahoma A&M College (OSU) with an engineering degree. He settled in OKC and began his career as an engineer. Bob designed, engineered, and patented several types of machinery over the 50-year timespan that he was employed at W. H. Stewart Co. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 56 years, Elizabeth "Mickey" Feistel, and his son, Michael M. Feistel. He is survived by his son, Mark Feistel, his granddaughters, Terra Brown and Kerri Easlon, his grandson, Michael Feistel, Jr., and his great granddaughters, Emily Easlon, Elizabeth Brown, and Victoria Brown. The visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 10-5 at Smith and Kernke Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 1:00 pm. His place of interment will be at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery at 7801 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73132. Bob was loved, cherished and blessed. He will be sorely missed.
