Robert Carl Bartlett

Robert Carl Bartlett went to be with his Lord on Sept 23, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with mental illness. Robert attended Oklahoma State University and was a petroleum land man for several years. His hobbies included photography and spending time with his friends and family. He was born July 1, 1958 in Durango, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert H. and Jean P. Bartlett and by his sister Holly Cowles. Robert is survived by his brother Richard (Kim) Bartlett, sister Nancy Brennan; niece and nephews Jennifer (Paul) Neese, Kerri (Ryan) Larson, Kevin (Brookie) Cowles Jr., Chad, Holly and Avery Bartlett, Michael Spencer, and great nieces and nephews; Parker, Lucas and Sarah Jean Neese, Hollie and Ethan Larson, Owen and Jack Cowles and brother in-law Kevin Cowles. His quick wit, sarcastic humor and perfect timing often kept everyone around him laughing and shaking their heads. He will be dearly missed and forever in our memories. A Memorial Service will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3rd, 2011 at Smith & Kernke Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the center that helped to take care of Rob.
