Robert Edward Harrington

Robert "Bob" Edward Harrington was born March 6, 1924 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the son of Max and Margaret Lee (Gault) Harrington. Bob was stationed out of Great Britain where he was a Bombardier on B-17 for the Army- Air Corps during World War II. He worked on Film Row in Oklahoma City for Paramount, along with working for Tinker Air Force Base for over 30 years as a Quality Control Specialist. Bob enjoyed building houses with his father and being a Boy Scout Leader. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack Miller Harrington and William Price Harrington; twin sisters, Miriam and Marion Harrington. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Freeda E. Harrington; sons, Randy Keith Harrington of Fresno, CA, Brian Thomas and wife Tiffany Harrington of Lake Eufaula Area, and Jeff Harrington of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Steven Thomas Harrington and Keith Harrington; and one great-grandchild, Luke Harrington. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church of Oklahoma City. Visitation will be from 9:00am-4:00pm with family present from 2:00-4:00pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Smith & Kernke. Graveside Service will be at 1pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Wellston Cemetery in Wellston, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at First Christian Church of Oklahoma City.
