Robert Nicholas 'Robert N. Fitzpatrick Fitzpatrick Jr.

Robert N. Fitzpatrick, Jr., born March 24, 1958, in Detroit, MI, passed away on January 31, 2011, at home after a long and heroic fight against cancer surrounded by his most loving family. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 22 years, Mary Downey Fitzpatrick and parents, Robert and Alice Fitzpatrick. Also surviving are their three exceptional children, Ellen Kathleen, Dean Christopher and Erin Avery. Bob is also survived by his brothers and sisters Kathleen (Bill) Snyder of Wichita, KS; Colleen (Bob) Costello of Edmond; Martha (Jeff) Justice of Edmond; Brian (Carol) Fitzpatrick of Egan, MN; Patrick (Marla) Fitzpatrick of St. Louis, MO; and Daniel (Suzanne) Fitzpatrick of OKC; Bob's mother-in-law, Marie Downey, and the late John P. Downey. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bob, who was a principal in Justice Homes. Inc., was a graduate of Bishop McGuinness HS, received his bachelor's degree from OU, and his master's degree from TCU. Bob derived immense satisfaction from his daily work ethic and his total dedication to his wife and three children. Nothing deterred him from his love of church, home and family and he will remain our role model in his steadfast devotion to these most important of life's ingredients. Services for Bob will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Dr., OKC, officiated by Pastor Rick Stansberry.
