Roberto Perez, edad 72, fallecio el viernes, 21 de Mayo del 2021, en el hospital St. Anthony en Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Nacio el 5 de Septiembre del 1948 en Tlacuitapan, Jalisco, México, hizo de Refugio y Luciana (Garcia) Perez. Roberto se crío en México, llego a Estados Unidos como inmigrante indocumentado, estableciéndose en California. En 1987 se caso con el amor de su vida, Angelita (Cardenas) Perez. Al poco tiempo se mudaron a Oklahoma City para comenzar una familia. Estuvieron casados durante 34 años, con muchos momentos felices pero también momentos difíciles como la muerte de su hijo Roberto "Betito" Perez.En su juventud fue un excelente jugador de béisbol y disfruto ver los juegos. Su equipo favorito fueron los Angeles de Anaheim. El amo a sus nietos inmensamente y prefería la compañía de sus nietos más que de otra gente. El demostraba el amor a su familia y en particular a su esposa al cocinar la comida favorita de su familia, "bistec en comal". En su cumpleaños el siempre le pedía a Angelita su platillo favorito, "mole poblano". El es sobrevivido por su esposa, Angelita Perez; hija Luciana Perez; hija Laura De Loera y esposo Carlos De Loera; hijo, Roberto Perez; hermanos Thomas Perez, Raul Perez y Manuel Perez; nietos, Adalynn Perez, Alia Perez y Emilio De Loera. Servicio fúnebre será el martes, 25 de mayo del 2021 a las 2 de la noche en la iglesia de Los Santos Angeles en Oklahoma City. Después de misa, el sepelio en Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. El velorio será el domingo, 23 de Mayo del 2021, de 12 de la tarde a 8 de la noche en la funeraria Smith & Kernke en Oklahoma City. Roberto Perez, age 72, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born Sept. 5, 1948, in Tlacuitapan, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of Refugio and Luciana (Garcia) Perez.Roberto grew up in Mexico and came to the United States as an undocumented immigrant and settled in California. In 1987 he married the love of his life, Angelita (Cardenas) Perez. Shortly thereafter they moved to Oklahoma City to start their family. They were married 34 years, experiencing many happy moments but also enduring many hardships including the death of their son, Roberto "Betito" Perez.In his youth he was an excellent baseball player and enjoyed watching it over the years. His favorite team was the Anaheim Angels. He loved his grandchildren immensely and preferred their company over anyone else. He loved to show his affection for his family and particularly his wife by cooking their favorite meal, bistec on the comal. And on his birthday he always asked Angelita to cook him his favorite, mole poblano.Roberto is survived by his wife, Angelita Perez; daughter, Luciana Perez; daughter, Laura De Loera and husband, Carlos De Loera; son Roberto Perez; brothers, Thomas Perez, Raul Perez, and Manuel Perez; grandchildren, Adalynn Perez, Alia Perez, and Emilio De Loera.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, May 23, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home in Oklahoma City.
