Ron Blair

Ron Blair died on August 17, 2017 after a long and productive life. He was born April 5, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ron attended Tulsa public schools and graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1959. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and went on to a career of over 40 years with a major wholesale furniture and flooring company, where he was a regional sales manager in San Francisco, Bakersfield, and Oklahoma City. Ron was married in 1959 to his wife Jeanne. He loved to read and was an avid golfer. He was a faithful parishioner at All Souls' Episcopal Church, where he was a long-time usher and served on various committees. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Nell and Ted Blair, as well as his sister Carolyn Miller. He is survived by his much-loved family; wife of 58 years Jeanne, daughter Katie Tooley (Matt), granddaughter Sarah Tooley, sister in law Joan Bass, and brother in law Blaine Miller. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 22nd at All Souls' Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, the family would consider donations to All Souls' Episcopal Church or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation a blessing.
