Ronald J. 'Ron' Heusel

Ronald J. Heusel passed away December 16, 2014 in Oklahoma City. He was born October 26, 1941, in Cleveland, OK, the son of Ralph and Bonita Heusel. He grew up in Hennessey and earned his Eagle Scout award. He then attended Oklahoma State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in accounting. He met and later married June Anthony on June 12, 1973. He was a longtime CPA working in various accounting endeavors before entering private practice. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family. He was passionate about OSU atheletics. He also loved golf and was a longtime member of Quail Creek Golf and Country Club. He was a beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, June; two sons, Sean Heusel and wife Melissa and Darrin Heusel and wife Lindsey; two brothers, Charles Heusel and wife Peggy, and Bob Heusel and wife Pat; and two grandchildren, Brody and Brooke. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 19 at 2 p.m. at Smith & Kernke May Chapel.
