Mr. Ronnie Dean Green, Sr. (Dad) of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on Thursday November 15, 2018 at the age of 67. Ronnie was born to parents Lillie Joe and Lenell Green on January 12, 1951 in Muskogee, OK. He grew up as the eldest of 4 and attended Checotah High School, where he graduated in 1969. Immediately following graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served as an Infantry Soldier, Drill Sergeant and an MP (Military Police). Ronnie served his country faithfully until November 4, 1977 when he retired as a Vietnam Veteran. On July 14, 1972, Ronnie married the love of his life, Juanita Bell. The couple had three children; Ronnie, Jr. (1973), their late daughter Michelle (1976) and Marcus (1979). After the military Ronnie joined the Oklahoma State Highway Patrol where he served as a state Trooper/U.S. Marshall Service and had the honor of being Pilot and Co-Pilot to 2 Governors. After serving as pilot for the governor Ronnie worked a year as a pilot for Phillips Petroleum. Ronnie continued to keep himself busy as a pilot, flying for the U.S. Marshalls Service until his final retirement in January 2015. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Juanita Green; sons Ronnie Green, Jr. and Marcus Green; daughter-in-law LaDeedra Green; niece Claudia Landon; his favorite God-daughter Kailynn Bradley and his grandson Landon Green, who could arguably be Ronnie's greatest Accomplishment. He is preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Green; his parents; and brother Willie Green. Ronnie will be missed by his family and Friends who are invited to attend the honoring of his ashes at Fort Sill on November 20, 2018.
