Ruby Modell Barber

Ruby M. Barber, 91, passed away July 30, 2010. She was born to Edward and Mary (Canon) Shell on March 13, 1919 in Murray, Kentucky. She married Robert M. Barber on August 23, 1937. They moved to Oklahoma City and enjoyed a loving marriage until Bob's death in 1985. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bob, brother Edward Shell, sister Elaine Wilcox, and grandson, Todd Barber. She is survived by her son Mike Barber and wife Carla, her daughter Patti West and husband Bob, as well as her grandsons Brian Barber and wife Danielle, Eric West and wife Sarah, Kyle West, and her great-grandsons Jack Barber and James West, niece Sandi Borup, and nephew Bob Wilcox. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Freda Clayton for taking such loving care of Ruby. We would also like to thank Connie, Katie, Anna, Denise, Vinita, and Lois for their care and support.
