Ruth Frances Logan Frazier, 92, passed away in her home on Sept. 5, 2015. Ruth was born in Hominy, Oklahoma to Dr. and Mrs. Clifford Kuykendall Logan. She loved growing up in Hominy, and although she left Hominy after high school, she kept friendships with many there for the rest of her life. She never tired of talking about the wonderful Osage culture she learned to love and admire. Ruth graduated from OU with a Masters of Psychology. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and it was at OU she met her best friend and the love of her life, Jay Frazier. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on August 1, 2015. Ruth began her married life as a homemaker. She had a wonderful and unique gift of making a house a home. She had such a gift that after she and Jay built a home in 1958, she was asked to go to Washington, D.C. as one of 100 delegates selected from over the nation to advise builders, manufacturers and designers on what homemakers wanted at that time. Ruth later became one of the first teachers of children with learning differences and also served as vice-principle and principal at several Oklahoma City schools. She was a gifted educator. Ruth was a devoted Christian. Her faith guided her every move in this life. She was a member of All Souls' Episcopal Church where she served as a Stephens's minister. Her first concern was always for others, and she was a friend to all she met. Ruth is survived by her husband, Jay; her daughter, Kirk Hammons and husband Royce; her son, John Frazier and wife Kim and her son, Bill Frazier and wife Mirna. She is also survived by the lights of her life: grandchildren, Jason Hammons and wife Angela; Hadley Galt and husband Travis; Mike Frazier and wife Sarah; David Frazier and wife Paige; great-grandchildren, Emily and Preston Hammons, Mary Jane and Margeaux Galt and Claire Frazier.
