Sandra Jean Miller affectionately known for years as "Nelma" of Oklahoma City passed away on December 19, 2010 at the age of 70. Sandy was born on August 22, 1940 to Charles and Annabel Hudgens in Oklahoma City. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Extremely giving and unselfish she was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever she was able. Sandy attended Rosary Elementary School and graduated from Catholic High School. She met and married her husband Roy on November 24, 1963 and they were married for 44 years. Sandy was first and foremost a mother sacrificing greatly while raising seven children. Later she began a career working with special needs foster children that lasted for many years and proved to be very fulfilling for her. One of her greatest passions was working her crossword puzzles each morning while enjoying her trademark cup of hot tea. Sandy is survived by seven children. Vicki, Chuck, George, Beth, Sam, Steven and Amy as well as 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and siblings Patty, Janice and David. Preceding Sandy in death were her Mother and Father, Husband Roy, twin grandsons Jacob and Cole, sister Carol and brother Mike.
