Sgt. James Michael Mullings

God is good and His mercy is never ending. My loving husband of over 46 years was delivered from this world on Saturday night. It was sudden and unexpected. God's Christmas Blessing for his 72nd birthday. James followed in his brothers' footsteps as he volunteered to serve his country during the Vietnam War, as a combat medic in the 1st Cavalry Division 2nd of 7th, and later volunteered for Medivac 15th med. He was awarded several awards including the Bronze Star with V-Device and the Combat Medic Badge. Upon returning to the States, he founded the Oklahoma Veterans Memorial. He is survived by his wife Teese; children - Myki Holmes (Luke), Mandy Haydon (Mark), Matt Mullings (Mia), Mason Mullings and McClaine Mullings (Jamie); 11 grandchildren and one brother, Ken Mullings. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, Dec. 27th from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens with military honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Flowers That Do Not Wither Fund. May his memory be eternal.
