Sherry May Erwin, 60, passed on to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Oklahoma City. She was born on August 30, 1953 to Willard and Rita (Mullins) Blevins in Del City. After graduating high school Sherry went to work at the Mayex building as building manager. While working there she met her future husband Robert; they married and enjoyed 41 years together. She later worked as a secretary in the Oil and Gas business for 15 years. Sherry later decided to go back to school and became a LPN. She enjoyed over a decade of service with Integris before retiring to spend more time with her family. She loved gardening, travel, crafts, sewing and crocheting and especially her kitty Tig that she had for 18 years. Most of all she loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Willard Ray Blevins Jr.; grandparents Hattie and Walter Hudgins. Sherry is survived by her husband Robert B. Erwin, of Oklahoma City; daughter Jennifer Erwin of
Oklahoma City; son Chris Erwin of Oklahoma City; granddaughter Christina Erwin Round Rock, TX; and her twin sister Shirley Sullivan and family of Guthrie, OK. Sherry had a generous and loving spirit and was always helping others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Smith and Kernke Chapel on 23rd street. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, OK.
