Sheryl Sue Davison passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side. She was born in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Claude and Jane Sherman. She was a 1962 graduate of West High School in Wichita, KS. Sheryl moved to Edmond in 1973 and began a 27-year career with the Child Development Center at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, retiring as the director in 2010. She married Bill Davison on August 18, 1988 in Edmond. She is survived by her husband, "Papa Bill"; three daughters, Cindy Page and husband Chris, Chelle Plumley and companion Robert Lovett, and Keri Gonzalez and husband George; brother, Dan Sherman; two sisters, Barbara Potter and Shanna Sherman; ten grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary, and Gregory Page, Lauren Plumley, Kyler Page, Dominque, Delaney and Michael Gonzalez, Josh and Jeremy Lovett; three great grandchildren, Hannah and Heidi Page, Maddie Lovett; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-dad, Sam Boothe, two children, Kimberly and Anthony; and brother, Byron Boothe. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The family requests that contributions be made in Sheryl's memory to Samaritan's House in care of St. John the Baptist Church, 900 S. Littler Ave., Edmond, OK 73034.
