Shirley Kathleen Cooper

Shirley Kathleen Cooper was born May 16, 1924 in Gary, Minnesota to Carl and Alice Skare. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Gary High School. Shirley moved to Oklahoma City in 1955 with her husband Robert and her two sons. She worked for Mustang Fuel for 37 years and retired in 1992. Shirley was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Executive Women International. She enjoyed her family, home, reading and traveling. Shirley was preceded in death by Robert in 1972 and she passed away August 2nd in Broken Arrow after a fifteen year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Shirley is survived by her two sons: Terry and his wife Roz of Albuquerque, Randy and his wife Julie of Broken Arrow, and eight grandchildren: Cindy Dennis, Christy Cooper, Michael Cooper, Kaci Franks, Callie Embry, Clint Anderson, Lauren Anderson, and Marion Camacho. She also has seven great-grandchildren.
