Shirley Larae Sumption

Shirley LaRae Sumption, passed away May 2, 2018. She was born May 23, 1922 in Sutherland, Iowa to George and Laura Mae (Salzkorn) Shouse. Shirley loved her family with all her heart. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, John Rukes and daughter, Michaela Doss, and her 5 siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Brown (Ron) and Mary Pfenninger (Steve); son-in-law, Ron Doss; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving extended family. Visitation with family will be Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4pm - 6pm at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be 10:30 am Monday, May 7, 2018 at Putnam City Baptist Church with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery.
