Sr. Teresa Chau Tran

Sr. Teresa Chau Tran, OCD died Sunday August 23rd. She was born in Vietnam and escaped with her family in 1979. Sister entered Carmel in 1980 and served the community as both seamstress and cook. She was also a gifted baker, gardener and musician. Sr. is preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. She is survived by 4 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews of Houston, TX. The viewing will be held at Smith & Kernke (North May Ave.) on Friday, August 28, between Noon and 8. Her funeral Mass and burial are private.
