Stephanie Ann Kouri Simon, born December 21, 1963, fell asleep in the Lord on November 22, 2018. She was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and attended high school at Wichita Southeast, where she was an honor student and member of the the Pom Pom team. Stephanie attended both the University of Oklahoma and the University of Kansas, where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources. She worked at Lear Jet in Wichita for a number of years and married John Robert Simon in 1990. Stephanie moved to Oklahoma City and raised two wonderful children, Alexis Simon, and John Robert Simon, Jr.
Before moving to Oklahoma she was a very active member of St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral and after moving to Oklahoma was a member of St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church in Oklahoma City. Stephanie's great emphasis of her life after marriage was her two children. They were her pride and joy, and she adored and loved them more than life itself. She also had a great affection for her horse, Primo, her cat, Cali, and all animals in general. Stephanie loved life and always had a beautiful smile and caring words for everyone she met. She was a wonderful and compassionate friend to many. She adored her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, all of which had an equally strong love for her. Stephanie is survived by her daughter Alexis, her son John Robert, Jr., her parents Dr. Sam and Jacque Kouri, and John Simon. She is also survived by her sister Debbi Elkouri and husband David, her sister Tami Simon and husband Dr. David Simon and brother Sam Kouri Jr. and wife Allyn, as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
