Sue Reno

Sue Reno, age 81, of Oklahoma City, peacefully went to our Lord Jesus on March 30, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on July 26, 1930. She graduated Cleora High School with honors, and is a graduate of Oklahoma A&M where she received a degree in Business Administration. She married the love of her life, George Reno on December 23, 1950. Sue is a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, and a valued member of the Wiz Kids Team. Sue was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother and cared for her family with a loving heart and a sweet spirit. Her smile lit up a room, and her praises are being sung at the gates of Heaven. Sue always had a kind word for her family and friends, and faced her final journey never wavering in her faith. She was a great woman of God, and will be missed. She is preceded in death and now reunited with her precious Husband, George Reno of Oklahoma City, her oldest Grandchild and her sunshine PFC Norman "Ford" Reno of Edmond, Oklahoma her Mom and Dad, Loutie Mae and Adolphus Ashley Henson of Vinita, Oklahoma, her Brother Harry Henson and wife Louise of Dallas, Texas and a host of extended family and friends. She is survived by her Sons, Bradley Reno and wife Michele of Oklahoma City, Fred Reno and wife Jeanine of Dallas, Texas. Grandchildren, LCpl Jameson Reno stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, Sarah Reno of Dallas, Texas, Braiden Reno of Crescent, Oklahoma, Aimee and Matt Lippert of Oklahoma City. Great Grandson, Tucker Lippert. Niece Karen Kempf and husband Matt of Dallas, Texas and nephew Chuck Henson of Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. A celebration of her life will be held at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church located at 2717 W. Hefner on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be on Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home located at 14624 N. May Ave.
