Susan M. Rhodes

Susan Rhodes passed away at home on February 5th, 2025 at the age of 30 years.   She was survived by her caring fiancé, Tyler Maudlin, and their daughter, Aubrey, her step-son Axel Maudlin, her loving parents Jeffrey Rhodes (Tahlia Sarrantonio) and Cheryl Rhodes (Sue Finear), and siblings Carolyn Rhodes (Jesse Welch), Diane Rhodes, and Steven Rhodes.  Susan was a beloved granddaughter of Sharon Roberts. She also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew who cared deeply for her.  Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of her family. 

Susan grew up in Pittsford, New York,  She graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and was working as a Project Lead for General Dynamics.  She worked in Massachusetts before relocating to Oklahoma.  Susan was creative and compassionate.  She pursued her profession, interests, and hobbies with passion. Susan advocated for others.  She was an animal lover with a soft spot for dogs; especially any dog who needed some extra care and love.  

In lieu of flowers, Susan's family kindly requests donations to: ASPCA in her name.

The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
