Thelma C. Vann

Thelma Cornelia Vann, 94, passed away on June 3 in OKC. She was born in Muskogee, OK to Robert William and Dona Belle Taylor on October 19, 1916. She graduated from Muskogee Central High School and became employed by SW Bell Telephone Company, retiring after 37 years of service. She was married for 54 years to Robert Milton Vann until his death. Together they had 5 children. After several years of retirement, Thelma went to work at Baptist Medical Center for 10 years, then volunteered there for an additional 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Steven Vann; sister, Lorraine Childers; and brother, Robert Taylor. She is survived by sons, Robert and wife Cheryl, David, Mark and wife Paula; daughter, Teresa and husband Richard; 15 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren. Private family services will be held. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Integris Baptist Medical Center or the charity of your choice.
