Thomas Clark Laster

Clark Laster joined his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 26, 2018. He was born in Oklahoma City July 3, 1987 to Susan and Tom Laster. He attended Westminster School and graduated from Casady School in 2006 and went on to graduate from The University of Oklahoma. Clark loved sports and grew up playing baseball, basketball, soccer, football and even hockey. He enjoyed skiing, fly fishing and all things outdoors. He later developed an interest in golf and enjoyed playing at every opportunity. In baseball, he had what can't be "coached"; the gift of speed. Clark was most often the lead-off hitter and if he got on base, he was probably going to score because it was impossible to throw him out attempting a stolen base. A handsome and gregarious guy, Clark had an infectious personality and was beloved by a very close group of friends who followed each other along through school…some from early days of preschool. He had a quick dry wit and was genuinely and naturally funny; probably a gift from his grandfather. He was courteous and polite, but you could also become a target of that dry wit, always with no harm intended but perfectly timed. Clark readily made friends and was just easy to like. But most of all, he was dearly loved by his family and will be missed beyond description. Thomas "Clark" Laster is survived by his parents, Susan and Tom and by his sister, Catherine, grandmother Anne, his uncle Craig (Julie) Robertson, aunt Amy (Pat) Thompson and numerous cousins. A service to celebrate Clark's life and honor his memory will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4400 N. Shartel at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 1st. The family requests that contributions be made to The National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) of Oklahoma in Clark's memory.
