Thomas Joseph Boismier, Jr. (T.J.) passed peacefully from this earth Tuesday, February 16, 2016. Tom was born in Oklahoma City on June 10, 1934. He attended Bishop McGuinness High School and the University of Oklahoma before honorably serving our country in the United States Navy. Along with his brother Jerry Boismier, Tom owned and operated T. J. Boismier Mechanical Contractors for many years, helping to construct such Oklahoma City landmarks as Leadership Square and Remington Park. An avid golfer, he was a member of Quail Creek Golf and Country Club for over 40 years where he played many rounds of golf with family and friends. Tom was the rock of the family and will be missed by all. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon Boismier; two daughters, Linda Howard and husband Chris of St. Louis and Paula John and husband Tim of Columbus, Ohio; stepson, Spence Ruble and wife Jamie of Woodward; stepdaughter, Shelby Smith and husband Burris of Tulsa; brother, Jerry Boismier and wife Judy of Oklahoma City; sister, Teresa Johnson of Denver, Colorado; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Georgia Boismier and first wife, Sherrill.
