Timothy Wayne Gravett

Tim Gravett of Edmond passed away unexpectedly on June 14th, 2021 at the age of 57. Even though Tim has physically left us, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love that will be enjoyed by everyone. Tim was born on November 2nd, 1963 in Liberal, KS. He was a devoted husband and father. Tim was also an exceptional son, brother, uncle and good friend to many. He graduated from Shallowater High School in Shallowater Texas in 1983. Upon graduation he joined the US Army and served from 1984 to 1986. After serving in the Army, Tim moved permanently to Oklahoma where he met his wife Jana and they settled down to raise a family. In 2004, Jana and Tim welcomed their daughter Ashton into the world and enjoyed watching her mature into an amazing young lady.Tim was an avid sports fan and loved anything related to OSU. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and being around his family and friends.Tim will be sorely missed and is survived by his loving wife Jana Gravett, his daughter Ashton Gravett, his mother Kathy Gray, brothers Chad and Kevin Gravett and his beloved dog Sparkles.Tim was preceded in death by his father Charles Gravett, his grandfather Clint Fannon, his grandmother Gloria Fannon, his grandmother Iona Guilford and grandfather Floyd Gravett.In lieu of flowers Tim would want donations made to organizations dedicated to preserving individual liberties and freedoms such as the ACLU and First Liberty.Service will be held at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home (May Ave.) on Saturday the 19th of June at 11am.
