Trent Claxton

Trent was born in Oklahoma City to Jesse and Charlsie (Davidson) Claxton. He married Cheryl Elzey in September of 1991. He worked numerous years for Barber Lunberg Suppliers. Trent adored and cherished his grandbabies and became a stay at home "papaw" for the last 15 months for his granddaughter, Katie. He was an avid race fan, loved watching NASCAR and raced stock cars in his youth. Trent loved animals and was known to spoil his dogs. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughter, Morgan Cole and husband Tyler; stepson, Stephen Clayton; grandmother, Jewell Davidson; mother, Charlsie Claxton; brother, Scott Claxton; two sisters, Robin Richert and husband Randy and Kim Smith and husband Darren; two precious grandbabies, Katie Cole and Riley Clayton; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Services to celebrate Trent will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Crowder Cemetery, Crowder, OK.
