Born January 20, 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Tropel Arthur "T.A." Minton excelled as a track star at Capitol Hill High School and still holds the record for the 4 x 100 yard relay. T.A. graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's in Chemistry, and also received his Bachelor's in Theater Arts and a Master's in Education from University of Central Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Angela Minton; his five children: Pepper Muir, Zach Minton, Josh Herrington, Sarah Minton and Noah Minton; his grandchildren: Branford Minton, Maverick Muir and Jagger Herrington; and his brothers, Bill and Terry Minton. The world is a brighter, smarter and happier place since T.A. graced us with his love, beauty and intelligence. He was an avid technophile and mystery writer who was preparing to publish his first book this fall. He was a passionate actor who starred in many plays in the Oklahoma City area over the last fifty years. He passed surrounded by the care of his friends and family. He was truly loved and will be missed.
