Trudy Syckle

Trudy was born Jan. 9, 1943, in Oklahoma City to Jerry and Marie Manning. She attended John Carroll Elementary School and graduated from Bishop McGuiness High School. She founded "Miss Trudy's School of Dance," where she taught for more than 40 years, loving every minute of it. Trudy and her husband, Doug, are members of St. Charles Borromeo parish and were active in the St. Vincent de Paul Society. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband, Doug, her children Angela, Tav, & Vince, their father Bill Schmidt, her brothers Frank and Jerry Manning, her sister, Rita Davis, their spouses Kathleen, Joan, & Lew, her step-children Christina, James, & Amanda, her granddaughter Jessica, and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her many dance students. She will be remembered fondly for her love of family and faith, music of the dance, and her wonderful smile, sense of humor, and joyous laughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Charles Borromeo Church on Thursday, July 27th, 2016 at 10:00am, with internment at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Donations in her memory can be sent to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, c/o St Charles Borromeo Church.
