Verna Lea Elzey

Verna Lea Elzey was born in Oklahoma City on December 3, 1929 and passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010. Verna worked for 20 years at the Oklahoma Tax Commission and retired in 2004. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and her cats were her biggest passion in life. Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Dell J. Elzey and is survived by her children, Johnny Elzey, Sue Joesting, Cheryl Claxton, and Mike Elzey and her sisters, Jonnie, Connie, and Judy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grand children.
