Vicki L. (Dramshek) Wewers went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Born March 15, 1946 to Frank and Katharine Dramshek in Kansas City, Kansas, Vicki attended Blessed Sacrament school and Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, and later attended and graduated from Creighton University's School of Nursing. After meeting her future husband, James Wewers, in grade school and dating him throughout high school, they were married on September 2, 1967. Vicki served as a registered nurse at Providence Hospital in Kansas City, and later at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, before retiring to care for her family. She volunteered for St. Charles Borromeo and Bishop McGuinness High School's Booster Club. Vicki loved animals and donated to, and volunteered for, Free to Live Animal Sanctuary. She was an avid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks, cheering at countless basketball games and many Final Fours. She also loved attending sporting events for her grandchildren. Her Catholic faith was very important to her and her family; she served as a Eucharistic Minister at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, and later served as a Confirmation sponsor for many of her grandkids. Vicki is survived by her children, son, Mark Wewers and wife, Kim Zoller Wewers of Colleyville, TX, three daughters, Kristen Lykes and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City; Amy Pymm and husband Chris of Ellicott City, MD; and Lori Huska of Oklahoma City. Vicki is also survived by her grandchildren, Jared and Chandler Wewers, Benjamin, Drew and Reagan Lykes and Connor Pymm, and Vicki's sister, Karen Bellman, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, James L. Wewers and her parents Frank and Katharine Dramshek. A Rosary will be recited at 6pm on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Smith & Kernke Chapel, visitation with the family to follow until 8:30pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.
