Vincent Paul Lane, beloved son, brother, and father was born November 20, 1962 and departed this earthly life unexpectedly on December 1, 2013. Vincent was one of three children born to Richard and Wanda Lane and resided in Oklahoma City. The middle child, Vincent was always the eternal optimist and regardless of the challenges he found in his path, he never failed to see the glass as half full. In his most recent endeavor, Vincent owned and operated VART Transportation Solutions, a luxury transportation service. Happiest when he was behind the wheel, his latest role seemed to fit him best. Vincent grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended Putnam City High School and then continued on to the the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business and later a Master's degree in Public Health Administration. Vincent never met a stranger and his sharp intellect and clever wit always made him the life of any gathering. Vincent was most proud of his two daughters, Olivia and Alexandra Lane who survive him. He is also survived by his parents, Richard and Wanda, his older sister, Cynthia Ehart, her husband Steve, and their son Ryan, his younger brother Richard Lane, his wife Bridgette, and their two sons, Steven and Andrews. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles - LaVonne Whitney, and Paul and Hettie Lane along with a host of dear friends. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4th at Smith and Kernke. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
