Virdie Odette 'Odette Hatfield Lemay' Lemay

Odette Hatfield LeMay, 83, passed away Jan. 19, 2012, in Oklahoma City. She was born Aug. 28, 1928, in Barboursville, WV, the daughter of Wilkie and Virdie Hatfield. Odette moved to OKC in 1974 to attend OCU. She completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She was an active member of the Eleanor Roosevelt Democratic Women's Club and Sundowners for many years. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lt. Col. (Retired) George LeMay, USAF, and brothers, Maxwell Hatfield and Woodrow Lawson. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Fuller and husband Edward; and granddaughter, Megan McLain. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Smith & Kernke 23rd Street Chapel. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
