Virginia Henderson Hollacher Darnell

Virginia went to be with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior for her homecoming celebration on September 29, 2013. Born in Kansas City, MO where she was adopted into Katherine Reinecker Henderson and Newton Henderson's lives. She grew up in Atchison, Kansas; and OKC where she grew into a beautiful woman. She graduated from Classen High School in 1936, and completed Hills Business College working in a variety of secretarial positions until she married Joseph Walter Hollacher in 1939. They had two children: Joseph (Jay) Hollacher (deceased 2005) and Joy Catherine Beers, Tulsa, OK. Walter passed in 1972, but once again she found a good man, in Victor Darnell whom she married and lived a loving, content, and peaceful life until his death in 2007. She was an avid reader of magazines, and mysteries but was best known as a great home cook, homemaker, excellent shopper, and good friend. She is succeeded by her grandchildren; Susan Karlen and family, Dallas, TX and Joey Hollacher, San Diego, CA; step children of Victor Darnell whom she loved dearly and their children, and great-grandchild. She will be missed by all her family and friends, who will love her always.
