Blaine McCown passed away peacefully on September 22, 2016 in Oklahoma City. He was born on August 13, 1950 and was the only child of Bud and Sammie McCown. Blaine was a graduate of Harding High School class of 1968. He was a Kappa Sig and earned a degree in finance while at OU. Blaine was a stockbroker for 25 years and in 2000 he started Mac Oil and Gas. Blaine enjoyed life; traveling and spending time with family and friends, were his passion. His travels to Santa Fe, New Mexico and the Caribbean were his favorites as well as being an avid Sooner Fan. Blaine was a long time member of Crossings Community Church. Blaine was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Debbie; daughter Beth; mother Sammie; sister-in-law's Terry Washa (Mike), Leslie Denton-Mick (Mike), Barbie Coleman (Tom); a host of nieces and nephews; close friends; and his beloved dogs Berkley and Bella.
