Walter Dwyer Brown

Walter was born in Harrisburg, Illinois. He served in the navy, then attended St. Louis University and graduated with a business degree. In October of 1949 he married his beloved wife. He worked for Alcoa Aluminum until 1966. He then moved to Oklahoma City, and was president of Bryson Incorporated until 1996. He was an avid dog lover, and a devout member of St. John Baptist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bess and Walter Brown, and his wife of 53 years, Mary Ellen Harper Brown. Walter is survived by his three children, six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren, all of Oklahoma City. Graveside service will be held at Memorial Park on Tuesday, May 12 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School at 925 South Boulevard, Edmond, OK 73034.
