On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, Wanda Bernice "Rose" Hoegger, passed away at the age of 97.Rose was born on May 4, 1922 in Britton, Oklahoma to Glenn Harold and Anna Margaret (Lynch) Rosecrans. She graduated from Mt. St. Mary's Academy, Oklahoma City in 1940; and received her Registered Nurse degree from Saint Anthony's Hospital School of Nursing, Oklahoma City in 1943. Rose practiced nursing for thirty years in the Oklahoma City metro area. On May 4, 1945, she married Jerome Edward Hoegger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Michael Joseph; brother, William T. Rosecrans, Albuquerque, NM; and great-grandsons, Ryan Andrew Hamil and Cole Brendan Hamil. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Hill and husband, James "Jim", Edmond; son, Jerome "Jerry" and wife, Marsha, Edmond; daughter, Charolet Pahlke and husband, Fred, Edmond; ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Rose was a devout Catholic and devoted prayer warrior for anyone in need.A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, October 21st at Smith & Kernke, 14624 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City. The funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday, October 22nd at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 900 South Littler Avenue, Edmond.
