Wanda Gill

Wanda passed away peacefully November 20, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1927 on a farm near Norris, Missouri. In 1944, she came to Oklahoma City and not long after in 1954, she married the love of her life, Joe Gill. During her life in Oklahoma City she became an active member at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Wanda enjoyed needlework, crocheting, gardening, and animals, but most importantly she loved her beloved cat Lucy. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister Betty; brothers Bill and Barry; husband Joe; and son John. Wanda is survived by her sister Marcia; and sons James and Ron. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday, November 21-22, 2017 from 9am-4pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, November 24, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Ann's Chapel at St. Ann's Nursing Home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Ann's nursing home, Heavenly Hospice, and Mercy Hospice for their compassion and loving care provided to Mom during her prolonged illness.
