Wanda Laurette Hoke (Voris), 83, of Oklahoma City, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. Wanda is survived by her husband of 63 years, David; her four children: Douglas and Lisa Hoke of Edmond; Tina and Kirk Dana of Lubbock, Texas; Janet and Bill Piersall of Choctaw, Dan Hoke of Durant, Okla., and grandchildren: Seth and Keisha Dana; Micah Dana; Bryan Hoke and his fiancé Kristin Dao; Sarah Hoke; Jacob Piersall; and Owen Piersall. Born in Guthrie, Oklahoma on February 25, 1935 to parents Walter and Laura Voris. They moved to Oklahoma City when she was young, and she completed her schooling at Classen High School where she was first flutist in band and orchestra. She was preceded in death by both parents and sisters Virginia Scott and Peggy Riley, and her furry companion, Cody. Wanda was a voracious reader and fanatic sports fan. She was a lifelong member of Wesley United Methodist Women, and worked at Wesley UMC for 29 years, selflessly serving her church.
