Dear Lord, thank you for the time that you allowed Wilbur "Ken" Kinsey Wolfe on this earth. Ken was born in Cushing, Okla. on October 2, 1931 the son of Wilber K. and Zola Hesser and passed on April 12, 2014. He graduated from Orlando High School and Oklahoma State University with a business degree. He was commissioned into the Air Force through the ROTC program and served two years during the Korean War. He retired from the Oklahoma National Guard as a Lieutenant Colonel. Early in his career he worked for Montgomery Ward and then later Oklahoma Natural Gas where he retired after 30+ years of service in 1993. He was a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, Crossings Community Church, and Regency Dance Club. As a boy he enjoyed horseback riding, basketball and playing the piano. In his later years, one could find him enjoying his family and friends at the lake or traveling. He met Roberta Flynn his senior year at Oklahoma State University and married her on January 23, 1954. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Steve Wolfe (Valinda) and grandson, Matthew of Shreveport, LA; Jeff Wolfe (Edye); granddaughters Jessica & Caitlin and four great-grandchildren all of Edmond; nieces, Mary Beck (Cory) and Anna Lisa Bright (Patrick). Ken is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister and brother-in-law Pat and Ray Grant. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Smith & Kernke Chapel.
