Wiley Garrett Conley, 18, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on November 2, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 19, 2002 in Oklahoma City to Wiley and Carrie Conley.Garrett's life was filled with his deep faith in Jesus, loving on his chocolate lab, Charlie, staying up late… way too late, playing video games and watching movies, drinking Dr. Pepper and spending time with his family. He loved outdoor adventures, which included fishing and riding dirt bikes with his dad, brother, cousin, and uncle. He is currently homeschooling and is a senior in high school. For many years, he homeschooled through Classical Conversations.Garrett always stayed positive and never complained about his severe heart defect and airway complications. He had multiple open-heart surgeries; his first surgery being 15 hours long when Garrett was only 10 months of age. All of Garrett's heart surgeries were performed at Stanford Medical Center- Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. Garrett is survived by his loving parents, Wiley and Carrie Conley; his brother, Mason Conley (15); his sister, Rachel Conley (6); great grandmother, Mary Jesseph; grandparents, Rick and Janey Hays, William and Leesa Gonzales, and Dana and Vicki Seitz; uncles and aunts, Ben and Emily Grizzle, Brandon Gonzales and Sondra Albert, Ben and Chelsey Standefer, Leanna Conley, Margie Fite; cousins, Sam and Kali Grizzle, Remy Standefer, Brandon Wells, Christian and Brandy Steele, Alec Steele, Jade and Destry Steele, Cole Chapman and Victoria Chapman; great uncles and great aunts, Bruce and JoAnn Conley, Roland and Valerie Hill, and Steven and Merillee Jesseph. Garrett will also be forever remembered by numerous extended family and dear friends. A celebration to honor Garrett's life will be on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 1pm at Quail Springs Baptist Church.
