Baby Will, we "love you more than the most." William "Will" Carson Harris, born May 7, 2000 in Oklahoma City to Susie Marks Harris and Glenn Steven Harris was taken from us on October 4, 2015. He was a precious baby boy and grew to be a kind, generous and thoughtful young man of strong faith. He had a beautiful smile, gentle spirit and a tender heart. He loved his large family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, standout athlete and teammate, who was humble, selfless and patient. As a student at Heritage Hall, where he was a member of the Spanish Club and STAR Service Club, he played football, basketball and tennis. In 8th grade he was chosen by his classmates to be Flag Bearer for Australia at the Middle School Olympics. Will had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing with his brothers, cousins and buddies. Will was a member of Boy Scout Troop 193 where he achieved the rank of Life Scout on May 11, 2015. Will earned over 20 merit badges and was close to starting his Eagle project. He treasured many happy days on the water both wake surfing at the lake and fishing the oceans. Will naturally exuded many Christ-like qualities through his peaceful, giving ways. Will is survived by his parents Susie Harris and Glenn Harris; his sisters Eliot Dennard and husband Kelly, Grace Mitchell and husband Jacob; brothers Max Harris and Tripp Harris, grandmother Jane Marks Harrison, grandparents Bud and Norma Harris; aunts and uncles Linda Parduhn and husband Steve, Laura Baker and husband Chan, Hal Harris and wife Alma, Steve Marks and wife Saber, Bliss Morris and husband John, Merrie Duncan and husband Rob; cousins Blake Lippert, Tori Kristof and husband Myles, Laura Lippert, Brandon Parduhn, Bailey Parduhn, Daisy Baker, Chandler Baker, Beau Harris, Philip Marks and wife Sabrina, Haley Marks, Katherine Illingworth and husband David, Hunter Morris, Olivia Morris, Clay Morris, Blake Duncan, Price Duncan, Jack Duncan, Spencer Duncan, and nephew Rhett Mitchell. Will was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Dean Marks and John Devereaux Harrison. Will's family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all those who organized, conducted and attended the prayer vigil Sunday evening. The outpouring of love, support and prayers from all facets of the community has been incredible. We were all blessed to have had Will in our lives. We would ask that you continue your prayers for him and for all that mourn the loss of Will. On Will's night stand, he kept the FCA's God's Game Plan: The Athlete's Bible. He had nearly finished it. He will no longer play or compete on this earth, or be with us here - he is with God, but his love remains in us. Please remember him, always. We will miss him dearly.
