William Hampton 'Dr. William H. Harris' Harris

William H. Harris, D.D.S., passed away April 8, 2011 in OKC. He was born on March 29, 1926 to David and Pearl Joyce Harris in Enid, OK. William spent his early years in Drummond, OK and later attended the University of Colorado for one year before graduating from Yale in 1948 with a B.A. Degree. He completed his D.D.S. Degree from the University of Kansas City in 1955. He was a member of many organizations including Yale Alumni, American Academy of General Dentistry, Oklahoma State Dental Assoc., and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He practiced dentistry in OKC for over 50 years while starting Hampton Research in 1961. He has developed and manufactured many products for the dental industry. His products were distributed locally and internationally, as well in the missionary field. He holds 22 patents and has 3 pending patents. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother D.S. Harris and sister Joyce Faye Anderson. William is survived by his niece, Patricia Applegate of Mill Valley, CA, nephew, William Glass of Piedmont, CA, nephew, David Harris of Woodacre, CA, niece, Susan Behrens of Danville, CA. He was blessed with many dedicated employees and patients throughout the years.
