William "Bill" Jo Davis passed away in his home December 4th, 2020. Bill was born January 13, 1934 in Ark City, KS and married Dauna Humbolt on September 7th, 1957, they lived in Ark City, KS, Ponca City, OK, Enid, OK, Yukon, OK and now reside in Oklahoma City at Epworth Villa. After High School, Bill was in the Navy for 4 years and then reserves, he worked as a truck driver for Lee Way/Graves Trucking Company prior to retirement.Bill enjoyed lots of activities at Epworth Villa with his favorite being poker with his friends and he and Dauna volunteered at the market.While in Enid, Bill was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting, woodworking and was involved in Elks Club and American Legion. During softball season, you could find Bill playing softball and then he umpired for over 20 years which landed him a spot in the Softball Hall of Fame. After retiring from umpiring, you could still find Bill at the ball parks watching his grandkids play ball.Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dauna Davis; and two sons, Scott Davis of Brooklyn, NY and Mitch Davis and wife Kelly of Piedmont, OK; two grandchildren, Kristina Davis of Brooklyn, NY and Cole Davis and wife Hailey of Boise, ID; brother, Tom Davis and wife Judy of Illinois, and sister, Joyce Griffith and husband Johnny of Wichita, KS.
