William Ray 'William R. Thomas' Thomas

William R. Thomas completed his life journey on October 26, 2010. He was born October 12, 1934 in Jackson, MS. Bill's compassionate & caring nature touched many people throughout his exceptional life. He was an outstanding athlete & Korean War Veteran. He spent 40 years of his professional life with the FAA. After retirement he was a Consultant for many prominent businesses in the Aviation Industry. He was currently employed as Director of Engineering for METI. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved adopted parents Mabel & Sidney Shaw, & his wife of 33 years, Ann Thomas. Bill is survived by his wife Carrol, daughter Beverly Thomas, & bonus son Tim Chicoraske. Bill loved God, was a precious husband, beloved father & faithful friend and his loss creates a void for everyone who knew him. He is missed & will never be forgotten.
