Winifred "Win" Inez Bailey Fuhrman died May 3, 2019, at home. She was born in Oklahoma County on October 2, 1923, to Frederick and Inez (McCallon) Bailey. She graduated from Putnam City High School at the age of 15 and graduated from Oklahoma A&M in 1943 with a journalism degree. She worked as a reporter at newspapers in Stillwater, Duncan and El Reno. She and Donald Fuhrman were married on Jan. 1, 1948 in El Reno. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, her step-mother Lola Bailey, her parents and her brother and sister-in-law Ross and Ellen Bailey. Survivors are her three daughters and their families: Beth and Rocky Scott and grandchildren John Scott and Christina Zienkosky, Sarah Scott and Brent McCabe, and great-granddaughter Amelia McCabe; Paula and Don Cail, and grandchildren Rachel Cail and Bob Cail; and Anna Fuhrman and Joe Kerr, and granddaughter Lucy Kerr. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church, her home parish in Oklahoma City where she and her husband were part of the parish when it was established. Burial will be in El Reno Catholic Cemetery.
